Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to the most common questions traders ask about our algos, licenses, and prop firm usage.

No. This is educational software. Trading involves substantial risk.
No — you receive a compiled module, docs, and configurable risk params.
We trade primarily in prop firm accounts, which are simulated accounts with rules, daily loss limits, and trailing drawdowns — not direct cash accounts.

As retail traders, there is more than enough opportunity in the markets — there’s “cake for everyone.” Selling the algo doesn’t remove its edge or make it stop working. The futures market is highly liquid, and since prop accounts are simulated, multiple traders can run the same strategy without affecting fills or performance.
News events are highly volatile. While the algos are designed to work in any market condition, we do not recommend trading during news releases since price can quickly hit your stop loss and move on.

Quantara is specifically designed to avoid trading during scheduled news events.
Yes, but they are designed for prop firm accounts with trailing drawdown rules. On cash accounts, you must adjust risk, contract size, and stops since there’s no trailing drawdown.
Velora: Typically 1–2 high-probability trades per day.
Quantara: Multiple scalping trades per day.
The algos can run fully automated in NinjaTrader 8 using your ATM presets. That said, we recommend monitoring during trading hours to ensure platform stability, internet connectivity, and compliance with prop firm rules (daily loss limits, news filters).

If the platform disconnects, automated entries/logic pause until NT8 reconnects. ATMs continue to manage any already-placed orders on the broker’s servers. For best uptime, consider a reliable VPS.
No — you receive a compiled module for NinjaTrader 8, along with setup docs and ATM strategy examples. No coding is required.
If you’re running an ATM, open orders remain on the broker’s servers. However, automated entries and logic stop until NinjaTrader reconnects. We recommend running on a stable VPS for best reliability.
